The Project

COVID-19 has thwarted all planned and educational programs, forcing a dramatic reimagining of all human ideals. Young people around the world have seen the loss of their jobs, and the lack of professional opportunities has made unemployment a world-wide issue. One of the biggest issues confronting the world right now is youth unemployment, which is getting worse every day as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic waves. The issue is worse in rural areas when there is a higher concentration of rural poverty due to increased global migration to urban areas. According to Eurostat, the EU had 2.929 million unemployed young people (under 25) in January 2021, with the eurozone accounting for 2.356 million of them. The unemployment rate for young people in the EU and the euro region was 16.9% and 17.1% in January 2021, respectively, down from 16.9% and 17.2% in December. In December 2020, youth unemployment increased by 3.000 in the EU while decreasing by 15.000 in the eurozone. In January 2020, youth unemployment rose by 184.000 in the EU and by 89.000 in the eurozone.Under a new regulation agreed upon by member states and the EU Parliament, the bloc would cut carbon emissions by at least 55% by 2030, compared to 1990 levels. The EU parliament has advocated for a more ambitious reduction goal of 60%.

SUCOMINNO's primary goal is to support young people's growth and evolution while minimizing the negative effects of human activity on the environment. To do this, youth workers and young people are encouraged to promote green entrepreneurship, and the problem of discrimination between people and people's connections with the environment is tackled.

To be more specific, for each issue or need for which we aim to give this activity, we make an effort to provide a straightforward description of the challenges we wish to address through our activity. Our project is centered on young people's entrepreneurship, which offers fresh approaches to the growth of young people's economic and educational prospects. Green innovation, which combines young employment, social effect, and projected self-realization, has gained enormous popularity as a new formula for success, particularly in the digital sphere. These for-profit, self-funding companies also aim to address global problems including unemployment, education, and the promotion of eco-friendly practicesWe also seek to increase participant cultural awareness. All young workers from participating organizations are excited to participate in this intercultural encounter and, as a result, to discover new ways of learning through Non-Formal education, to provide participants the knowledge they need and get them involved in activities that will allow them to criticize and work against any kind of inequality..

Promote a positive attitude in life through the improvement of their skills in decision To develop self-esteem and other elements of resilience:Participants will have the chance to get to know themselves better and express their feelings and emotions in front of others during the session.

Provide non-formal environmental practices and innovation to the organizations' youth workers: Examining every facet of a problem and answering several questions about their ideas, strengths, weaknesses, possibilities, and constraints can help participants learn how to translate their thoughts into actions.

PDA 1 - POLAND - VIDEO

The objective is to achieve self-awareness in order to secure the greatest potential project outputs. The secret to feeling well and making wise decisions is self-awareness. Self-awareness is essential for feeling good and making wise decisions. To learn about the Circular Economy and how it might help them build projects and form new connections with other participants focused on green innovation and environmental conservation via the circular economy: Participants will have the opportunity and time to engage in groups, contributing ideas for green innovation in the PDA in Poland (A1) and PDA in Cyprus (A2) are logically linked and contain a complicated schedule of activities aimed at delivering high-quality professional development for youth workers and NGO employees in the field of Sustainable Communities and Eco-Innovation. We can clearly see how project activities that integrate two trainings (activity A1 and A2) and practical activities (local actions between A1 and A2 and follow-up activities after A2) can serve as an opportunity for representatives of partner NGOs and participants will establish groups during the first PDA to develop their own green ideas into green initiatives, which they will expand during the period between the two PDAs. During the second PDA, they will also do a SWOT analysis on their collaboratively developed final concepts. Also through the games activities they will have the chance to combine ideas in waste management which they will be able to implement in small scale in their areas with the compination of the NGO's and Municipalities in each country.
