KA152 Active Minds Active Lifes

The project "Active Minds, Active Lives" aims to develop young people's awareness of choosing an active and healthy lifestyle, encourage the formation of healthy lifestyle habits, and provide knowledge about the benefits of healthy lifestyle choices for a young person, their personal development, and future prospects.

The project combines 3 aspects: physical, mental health, and healthy eating. All things have focus to nature. These aspects are combined in each activity to create a harmonious whole.

The first part - physical health will be carried out through sports activities, most of which are organized outdoors - exercise, hiking, kayaking, dancing, yoga, stretching exercises. These activities will allow young people to feel their body's capabilities, strengthen muscles, and build strength.

Mental health is inseparable from physical health. Yoga, hiking therapy, even dancing, kayaking involve not only physical but also mental health. Therapeutic activities will also be offered, including laughter, sensory, drama, and photo therapies, which can fill the gaps between the main activities, giving young people the opportunity to understand themselves, their feelings, and emotions.

Healthy eating is also inseparable from physical and mental health. An organized trip to the "Farmers circle" organic farm and the educational activities carried out there will allow participants to gain knowledge about healthy eating, try farm work, and feel the harmony in the food chain - this is a unique opportunity to strengthen both physical and mental health, combined with healthy eating.

The project will take place over 7 days in Lithuania. 3 countries (Portugal, Poland, and Greece) can travel by green transport, Cyprus will fly by plane. Each country will have 5 participants and a group leader. 25 participants - a small group chosen intentionally. Each participant will be able to receive personal consultations on conscious lifestyle choices. The low noise level will ensure good mental health.

The project will be implemented on the principle of collegiality, that is, all countries will have their own responsibility: Cyprus is responsible for submitting the application and documentation, Lithuania - for accommodation, food, and organizational matters, Greece - for organizing physical health activities, Portugal for organizing mental health activities, Poland - for organizing healthy eating activities and the integration of all 3 directions.
